Crank up the charisma—today’s concert recap is drenched in dreamy falsettos, swaggering charm, and just the right amount of emotional damage. From coordinated boy-band choreography to brooding solo acts who’ve turned heartbreak into an art form, these performers—guys and the incomparable non-binary powerhouse Sam Smith—know exactly how to work a stage and a tear duct. So strike your fiercest back-to-back, arms-crossed pose—we’re diving in.
Goo Goo Dolls
There’s nothing quite like belting out the Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Iris’—especially when every note helps support the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, which aids and educates youth affected by violence. The Grammy-nominated rockers are teaming up with Marc Roberge of O.A.R. for a two-night musical spectacular at New York’s Beacon Theatre on November 9 and 10. It’s not their first encore for the cause—back in 2021, they struck the right chord by selling signed guitars at their shows to raise funds. Tickets? Already on sale.

Sam Smith
Sam Smith is about to turn Brooklyn’s Warsaw club into the least lonely place on Earth. Their To Be Free: New York residency—kicking off October 8—sold out 12 nights faster than you can hum ‘Stay With Me.’ The good news? They’ve just added more dates. The bad news? Blink and they’ll be gone. Scope the fresh shows below, then hustle to Sam Smith World before you’re left in your own lonely hour.

mgk
mgk—otherwise known as Machine Gun Kelly—might be singing about a lost americana on his latest album (don’t worry, it’s on full display here, complete with a merch store, photo ops, and exclusive mgk artifacts), but he’s splashing his hometown, Cleveland, in full color with a three-day takeover. Picture an art and community festival, sports antics straight out of a Looney Tunes reel—like sailing around a basketball hoop for a celebrity game powered by Webull—and a street league skateboarding takeover to show off his board skills. It’s all part of the annual mgk day, which went down over the weekend. Were you there? We’re dying to know—send us your pics and videos.

Midnight Til Morning
We’re loving Midnight Til Morning—yes, that’s the band’s name and the time frame we’ve been obsessing over them. Netflix’s Building The Band dream team—Conor Smith, Shane Appell, Mason Watts, and Zach Newbould—have already hit us with debut single ‘Bye,’ slipped in a sneaky undercover track ‘Ghost of Us,’ and now they’re coming for our calendars with a cross–America-and-Canada, cross–Australia tour. Come October, they’ll be steamrolling through both countries before crashing into Melbourne on November 23. Does your GPS land in their path? Scroll the dates and secure your spot—sleep is overrated anyway.

YUNGBLUD
YUNGBLUD’s not just our idol—he’s now officially our style dealer too. On August 7, he made sure every Londoner could channel his vibe by opening a central clothing store and music venue. Having to shorten it when you tell your mates you’re heading down, Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatized lives at 20 Denmark Street. The ground floor is all about his clothing brand, while the basement is a social free-for-all: poetry nights, live gigs, film screenings, and tarot readings for when you feel like asking, “When will I meet YUNGBLUD?” (if he’s not already roaming the shop). For the launch, he kicked things off with a battle of the bands before shutting it down in true YUNGBLUD fashion—by taking the outdoor stage himself.
