We are back with another ONE OK ROCK concert exclusive! Who’s excited? We are! They have toured the world many times now and consistently revisit London. And not to brag, but London does have some of the loudest crowds!
ONE OK ROCK opened the show with some crazy visuals. It was quite a long intro, but it was literally a full story. One about a plague and worshipping Gods, and how society always goes against each other, and that ultimately ONE OK ROCK were the saviors of this story. This all tied in nicely with ‘Puppets Can’t Control You’ being the opening song, which was an instant hit with the crowd.

The lighting was fun throughout, and the energy ONE OK ROCK brought to the stage was unmatched. The way their vocals gel together and the way their instruments just carry songs, it’s all just flawless. We love rock shows!
They played a little bit of everything, as expected, but the highlight of the show for us was the ultimate rock out that the band all had between themselves with ‘Make It Out Alive.’ It showcased their skills magnificently, followed by a surprise appearance from Paledusk?! We were shaken to our core. Hear us out, we know that Paledusk features on that song. We just didn’t expect to see them at the show, in the flesh. The show never dropped in energy, the crowd was as loud as ever, the vibes were strong, and the band absolutely crushed it.
Every once in a while, despite them being called ONE OK ROCK, we forget how truly rocky their music is. It’s like a happy surprise each time we see them live; they are incredible performers who know how to keep the crowd awake and at their best!

From seeing them perform at smaller academies to London’s biggest arenas has been so much fun for us. They blow our minds every time, and somehow manage to get better with each show. If you’re ever looking for a really good, intense rock concert, ONE OK ROCK are the ones to see. If you’ve never heard of them, truly get to know them. And if you know them through other avenues, such as their collaboration with 5 Seconds Of Summer, then… expand your knowledge because this band never misses.
Following their latest release DETOX, they performed a handful of hard hitters, with ‘Party’s Over’ and ‘Tiny Pieces’ making the cut. And they finished the show with an encore, in typical rockstar fashion, with ‘+Matter’ and ‘We Are.’ And we’ll tell you one thing is true… ‘We Are’ already missing them.

When they make their inevitable return to London, we will be right there with you all again, and hopefully with some new fans! Let us know your favorite ONE OK ROCK song by messaging us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram! We look forward to sparking that conversation – it’s difficult to pinpoint just one favorite song, but from DETOX it has to be ‘This Can’t Be Us’… we’re soft at heart.
