With even more marriage prospects and political drama, we couldn’t pause this riveting audiobook. Princesses Hélène d’Orléans, Alix of Hesse, and May of Teck would do anything to be with the princes they love. Even if they must court another prince, tell off her potential in-laws, or plot for a marriage of convenience. This historical romance set in 19th-century Europe is so worth the listen!

Next, we have Jodi McAlister’s new adult rom-com, An Academic Affair! It’s the ultimate academic rivals-to-lovers romance between two English professors. Sadie Shaw and Jonah Fisher have tried to one up each other since they were undergraduates thirteen years ago. When a full-time teaching position opens up with an offer for partner hire, they agree to start a fake relationship. This job would grant Sadie financial freedom and Jonah a chance to move closer to his divorced sister. But their marriage of convenience soon turns into real feelings (or the reveal of feelings that have long existed). It’s a steamy audiobook full of tension and pining that we finished in one sitting!

Our last November audiobook recommendation is MindWorks by Neal Shusterman.
