We truly can’t imagine our 2025 without Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye) and the subsequent tour. These songs and being able to find new ways to connect with them has cemented Role Model as a musical mainstay for us and so many others. 2025 has been a true breakthrough year for Role Model! ‘Sally, When The Wine Runs Out’ blew up, he performed on SNL, and he released the deluxe version of Kansas Anymore, just to name a few accomplishments! We knew when looking at all of Role Model’s accomplishments that we had to break down a few of the most impressive for you all! Let’s jump in!
Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live is one of those industry pillars that so many creatives from all walks hope to end up on; it’s a coveted slot! After the success of ‘Sally, When The Wine Runs Out’, we knew it was only a matter of time before we got to see Role Model grace the iconic stage at 30 Rock. His performance was, as always, a clear reminder of why we are forever fans and even featured a cameo by Charli XCX as Sally!
Lollapalooza & ACL
Festivals like Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits (ACL) have become rites of passage for artists, but it’s a whole other ball game to be drawing crowds like Role Model did this year! From the iconic Sally performances and special guests to the deeper album cuts that fans couldn’t wait to scream along to, the sets were so expertly crafted, and have poised Role Model beautifully for his 2026 festival run!
Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye)
With Kansas Anymore, we immediately were ready for more; the record is just that good! As soon as the deluxe version of the record was released and we listened through, it felt like these songs were always supposed to exist as a part of this story. In particular, ‘The Longest Goodbye’ wrapped everything up with a beautiful, tear-stained bow. The storytelling present on this record is a true accomplishment in itself.
No Place Like Tour
With an album comes a tour, and No Place Like Tour left us feeling as warm and resolved as the conclusion to Kansas Anymore did. This tour brought fans together in such a beautiful way, and all over social media, you saw the community that was being created, and what a lasting impact it was having on everyone who attended. And that is the true goal of live music!
