Oh, we are so back! And more importantly, so is BTS! It’s been a very, very long wait, but finally the icons are returning full-throttle. The legendary group will return on Friday 20th March with ARIRANG.
ARMYs, and frankly, the whole world, are shaking in their boots. We’ve waited years for this moment, and yet it’s somehow still taking us by surprise?! With that in mind, to hopefully help you, and us, feel a little less overwhelmed, we’ve broken down everything we know so far about BTS’s album and its rollout.
The Album
As some ARMYs suspected, the album release date is March 20th, at midnight ET! What did come as more of a surprise, though, is that this will be just their fifth full-length album! Doesn’t it feel like they have so many more than that? We suppose we’ve just been so spoiled with other kinds of releases that we didn’t realize!
And speaking of other releases, we cannot wait to see how the members’ solo endeavors influence the group’s artistry now that they are reunited. The announcement shared that the album is driving by each member’s “honest introspection,” and not going to lie, that has us terrified in the best way possible.
The Tracklist
Even though we knew this was a full-length album, we were still delighted to see fourteen songs on the ARIRANG tracklist. We’re in March 2026, and we haven’t had this many new BTS songs at once since February 2020…
Led by title track, ‘SWIM,’ check out the full ARIRANG tracklist below!

The Credits And Collaborators
Before we update you on all the external people who worked on ARIRANG, we have to talk about the most important contributors: BTS themselves. And where better to start than with BTS’s leader, RM? He is credited across every ARIRANG track excluding ‘No. 29,’ which serves as an interlude.
Following on from RM, we have SUGA credited across eleven tracks, j-hope on ten, Jungkook on four, and Jimin and V across two each.
Then, if we scan the tracklisting a little more thoroughly, we see just how many hitmakers have contributed to ARIRANG. Of course, Pdogg is on there, but we’ve also got the likes of Diplo, Mike Will Made-it, Flume, Ryan Tedder, and GHSTLOOP, to name just a few. Most of these we had our suspicions of when BTS first announced ARIRANG back in January 2026, but we were still so excited to get the confirmation! Though, let’s be real, who wouldn’t wanna work with BTS at this point?

The Promo (So Far)
Alongside the very first album announcement, before we even knew its name, BTS’s promo began. They started, in classic BTS fashion, by telling ARMY first. Handwritten letters were delivered to the homes of selected fans, thanking them for their support as well as telling them the news!

From there, BTS has only ramped up. There was the global billboards, the “WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?” posters in select cities, and some eagle-eyed ARMYs even spotted the logo spray-painted on sidewalks.
The “WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?” campaign reached its climax with surprise events in Seoul, New York City, and London! Art installations popped up, and the ARMYs who visited could take home a red rose from the flower wall which, as it emptied, revealed the BTS logo and “WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?.” We’re assuming you feel the same, but we are thrilled by the prospect of more BTS love songs on ARIRANG! Though, we’ve fallen for this trick before with Jungkook’s ‘Seven.’

What’s Still To Come?
Isn’t it crazy to think we’ve had this much BTS content already in 2026, and the album isn’t even out yet?! The best is ‘Yet To Come’ and all that…
Perhaps the most important promo to mention is BTS’s partnership with Netflix. On 21st March, Netflix will globally livestream BTS’s comeback performance from Gwanghwamun in Seoul. This elevation of the quintessential K-Pop comeback showcase shows exemplifies just how iconic this moment is going to be! Following on from that, we’ll also get a behind-the-scenes documentary of BTS making ARIRANG, also on Netflix on 27th March.
If the Seoul showcase wasn’t enough, it’s also been revealed that BTS are partnering with Spotify for their first U.S. performance in nearly four years! Spotify will invite 1000 of BTS’s top listeners to attend Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE, a performance and immersive experience on 23rd March! This is just one of the ways Spotify has supported this comeback, as there’s also been secret voicenotes from the members that you could uncover in the app!
And last, but certainly not least, we’ll also get the planned events in Seoul for BTS THE CITY ARIRANG, before, of course, BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG begins. We can’t wait!
Which part of BTS’s 2026 has got you the most excited? What are you predictions for ARIRANG? Let us know in the comments below, or tell us over on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
