What a ‘Gnarly’ night! KATSEYE officially made their Coachella debut on April 10th and let us tell you, it has been SUCH an eyekonic week to stan them. The girls dropped their opening song, ‘PINKY UP,’ earlier this week as a little appetizer for the performance and it totally paid off – the crowd was already hyped and screaming the lyrics back to them. The energy was high from the very beginning as the group rose from the stage on a lit-up platform in colorful outfits inspired by their chaotically cute ‘PINKY UP’ styling. And they had a hugeee surprise for us when the singing voices of HUNTR/X came out to sing ‘Golden’ from K-Pop Demon Hunters! Such a moving girl power moment.
Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae brought so much energy and passion to their set that it was impossible not to sing and dance along with them, even if you were just sitting at home in your room watching on the YouTube livestream. While we wish Manon could have been there to jam out with EYEKONs, too, we wish her all the best and send her all the love!
