If you’ve been keeping up with HYBE x Geffen at all recently, then you know the label is on a mission to deliver the best new global girl group. Their latest project, World Scout: The Final Piece, took our favorite girls from The Debut: Dream Academy (who did not make the final KATSEYE cut) and made a group of three. The catch? They were actually looking for a fourth member. The past few months, we’ve been tuning into ABEMA to see who the final piece of the group would be. As of today, after much anticipation, we have our final member. We also have the group’s official name. Welcome to the world, SAINT SATINE!
Emily
Our girl Emily was certainly a fan favorite during the audition process for the global girl group, KATSEYE. Although she didn’t make the final cut, we knew big things were in store for her regardless. She stood out as The Debut: Dream Academy‘s best dancer and quickly made a name for herself. Now, she’s here to prove every hater wrong and step foot onstage as a member of SAINT SATINE.
Lexie
TBH, Lexie was our favorite girl on The Debut: Dream Academy. For us, she had the full package – the vocals, the dancing, and that beautiful look that’s integral to any successful girl group. Clearly, HYBE x Geffen saw these qualities too. When we first saw that she was being chosen for a new girl group by HYBE, we couldn’t help but cheer her on. Now that she’s a member of SAINT SATINE, we are fully invested in the group.
Samara
Samara, we could never forget about you. Everyone knows Samara has star quality, and we’re so glad it’s not going to waste. Samara, being the third member of SAINT SATINE alongside Emily and Lexie, only feels right – these three girls have an undeniable chemistry onstage! We truly cannot wait to see Samara thrive once songs start being released and shows start being booked.
The Final Piece: Sakura
After months of waiting, we finally have our final piece. Welcome to the group, Sakura! Honestly, we’ve been cheering Sakura on from the beginning, and to see her as the winning piece of SAINT SATINE has been amazing. By the end of the show, we knew choosing Sakura was the natural decision, and we are so excited to see what kind of energy Sakura will bring to the group. Most importantly, now that the group is complete, we are curious to see how the girls will evolve as the year goes on.
