Calling all dystopian readers! You might remember our book review for Storm Breaker by Nisha J. Tuli back in May. Well, the sequel to it is already almost here! That’s right: Storm Caller releases in just under a month, and we couldn’t be more excited.
After a cliffhanger ending and countless possibilities for where this story could go, we’ll reunite with Poet and Rook as the world as they know it turns upside down. How Poet Navigates Her New World
For anyone who hasn’t read Storm Breaker yet, we won’t get into the specifics of how it ended. What we will say is Poet faces so many more truths than she could’ve ever expected. We can’t wait to see how she handles all this new information. On the run and in a completely different space, Poet will have to set aside the conditioning she grew up with and learn to see things another way.
How Angsty The Romance Gets
Speaking of Rook, we can already tell Storm Caller will play with our feelings. We’re excited to see how much tension and angst Poet and Rook will go through with such high stakes involved. These star-crossed lovers will likely be put through the wringer, especially now that their trust has been distorted after the ending of book one. It’s going to hurt so good, and we’re bracing ourselves for the emotional damage.
