Continuing our THPloween articles of the month, there was no way we’d miss the chance to make a Halloween playlist filled with K-Pop songs we love to death. This time, we’re focused on some of our faves from the 4th generation and all their scarily great songs. And we have a lot to get through, so let’s get started!
‘Up All Night’ – Stray Kids
No other song could be starting this list other than ‘Up All Night’ by Stray Kids. ‘Up All Night’ is a mandatory addition to any Halloween playlist, not only for the spooky aesthetics of the MV, but also because it’s such a fun song to dance to with friends.

‘The Black Cat Nero’ – Ateez
Black cats are very Halloween-coded. ATEEZ are also very Halloween-coded. So of course we’d add ‘The Black Cat Nero’ to this playlist. Not only is it perfect to play during a spooky party, the theatrical MV also gives us vampire ATEEZ, so it’s really a win-win situation.

‘Devil by The Window’ – TOMORROW X TOGETHER
From the instrumentals to the MV aesthetics, everything about TXT‘s ‘Devil By The Window’ screams Halloween. It’s a little darker but it’s so sophisticated and reminds us so much of a haunted house we can’t help but be obsessed with it.

‘Bite Me’ – Enhypen
Of course our favorite K-Pop vampires would make it to this list. And appropriately, we chose to include ‘Bite Me.’ The seductive track lures us into Enhypen’s spell just like vampires do to their victims, and we’re falling for it willingly.

‘Tricky House’ – xikers
The strange circus aesthetic mixed with the upbeat instrumentals and xikers‘ vocals on this song make for the most immaculate Halloween vibes. You know when you go to a haunted house and you never know what you’ll see turning the next corner? That’s what listening to this song feels like, just maybe with less jumpscares and more happy surprises.

‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ – TOMORROW X TOGETHER
As the title suggests, this is more a song about rebellion than anything else, but these visuals and the heavy instrumentals earned ‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ a spot on this playlist. Also these boys are dancing on a cemetery in suits. Try and tell us that doesn’t scream “Halloween” for you.
‘Drink It’ – THE BOYZ
As you may have guessed from the title, this is another vampire-themed song we are hypnotized by and couldn’t leave out. THE BOYZ did a great job of mixing creepy vibes and heavy instrumentation for this song. Absolute Halloween banger!

‘Maniac’ – Stray Kids
First of all, name-dropping Frankenstein was already enough for us to want to include ‘Maniac.’ Then we also have the instrumental and production side of the song that also gives us some of those odd, unique elements we love so much in Stray Kids‘ sound.
‘Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)’ – Enhypen
Despite the initial angelic aesthetics, there’s something truly Halloween-coded about ‘Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)’ and we’re living for it! It’s that feeling that there’s something hiding in the shadows just waiting to jump on us. Perfect for a Halloween playlist if you ask us.
‘Encore’ – Purple Kiss
If you’re at a Halloween party and you need a song to hype people up as well as keep the spooky vibes going, we seriously recommend you go with Purple Kiss’ ‘Encore.’ The instrumentals at the beginning remind us of spooky soundtracks and listening to the song makes us feel like we’re witches dancing around a fire. Perfection!

‘Brought The Heat Back’ – Enhypen
From a haunted house to black cats and caskets all over the MV, ‘Brought The Heat Back’ couldn’t stay out of our playlist. Our favorite vampires always deliver when it comes to Halloween-themed songs and we can only hope they keep ’em coming more and more.
‘VENOM’ – Stray Kids
Spider webs as a metaphor? All black outfits? Actual mechanical spiders in the MV? Yup, ‘VENOM’ by Stray Kids fits the bill for a Halloween playlist to a tee. We might also want to steal all their outfits from this MV, but that’s another story.
‘Bad Desire (With or Without You)’ – Enhypen
True to their lore as usual, Enhypen has given us many songs that could fit this playlist, but there was no way we’d leave ‘Bad Desire‘ out. The idea of using the duality often associated with vampirism to describe both wanting to keep the purity of a loved one as well as corrupting them? Perfection!
‘Mr. Vampire’ – ITZY
Using a vampiric metaphor to explain the thrill of falling in love? Oh ITZY, we love you so so much for this! Especially considering the shift mid-MV to include darker scenes amidst the trees, truly evoking that spooky vibe we love so much.
‘WITCH’ – xikers
Finishing off our list, we have another xikers’ song, ‘WITCH.’ Not only is the name itself very appropriate, we also get some stunningly spooky visuals that are perfect for a Halloween playlist. If these weere the witches chasing us, we wouldn’t even want to run away.
We hope you’ve enjoyed our 4th gen Halloween playlist as much as we’ve enjoyed making it. And if you did, please let us know by tweeting us at @TheHoneyPOP, or come find us on Facebook and Instagram.
