Happy Between You & Me release day to all that celebrate! This has been one of our most anticipated releases of 2024. We know that it’s still early, but SH!T YEAH is an incredibly strong contender for EP of 2024. We’ve loved BYAM’s previous singles, like, ‘Nevermind’ and ‘YEAH.’ But we’re beyond stoked to finally have the rest of the EP that we’ll be playing on repeat. Here’s why.

Some of the songs have deeply personal themes, whilst others have fictional narratives and light-hearted tales. These songs mean everything, and they also mean nothing. All our journeys are different, so take these songs how you feel them. SH*T YEAH!

‘Kill My Vibe’

This intro song truly sets the ‘vibe’ of the album. It’s clear from the start that it’s an absolute banger. We didn’t think it could get any better, but then Joe Taylor of Knuckle Puck is featured on the track and elevates it further. We know they toured together last year, but they need to again. We just think that they’d be a perfect addition to the Real Friends x Knuckle Puck blood pact.

‘Every Morning’

This track is a bop. It’s impossible to not want to sing and dance along. If you aren’t, the only acceptable reason is if you’re in the air crowdsurfing. Speaking of which, it’s the perfect time to do so at the rest of their US headlining dates and/or headlining tour in Australia next month. So be sure to get tickets!

‘Sad Songs’

We are firm believers that an album should end on a high note and BYAM does not disappoint with the final track. Whether or you can relate to the indecision with lyrics like, “I still can’t make my mind up, I just lay in my bad luck” and ” I counted every star in the sky, but I just don’t know,” you can vibe to this song. Which is exactly what we’ve been doing and will continue to do.
