New Single: When is it out? Where can we stream it?
Riley is here with another pop single titled ‘One More Heartbreak‘ and it is available to listen to and stream on all streaming platforms, and anywhere else you can find music!
Tell Us a Little About Yourself!
I have been playing music since 7 years old after I began playing Guitar Hero. From there, I entered a singing competition and won 1st place. After that, I began guitar lessons and continued to further my study in music.
What are your main musical influences?
My main influences are John Mayer and Prince. I love these two artists because they have taken musicality and synthesized it with powerful and meaningful lyrics, and then, pair that with a killer live show. That is what I strive to do with my art, and I hope to do them proud!
What is the funniest thing to have ever happened to you on tour?
The boys in my band and I have a lot of fun making fun of each other and “roasting” one another. Unfortunately, the subject matter is far too inappropriate to mention in this publication, so I will refrain from doing that. But sometimes it gets pretty heated!
If you could live in any era for music for the rest of your life, which would it be and why?
DEFINITELY the 50s and 60s. To be subjected to music the likes of Bobby Darin, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles would be a dream.
Are you heading out on tour soon? Where can we buy tickets?
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all live performances have been halted, but once they return, I will be performing all over Canada!
What does a typical day in the studio look like for you?
Hurry up and wait. You rush to get to the studio on time, only to find out that it will take 3 hours of setup before you actually play any music. But it’s a necessary step! Then, I get to play my heart out and watch my music take shape in front of my eyes.
Dinner with one person dead or alive? Who and why?
Prince. Part of me feels like it would be a fun dinner, but maybe a nervous experience. I wouldn’t want to say the wrong thing and upset that guy.
Is there a song that you wish that you had written?
I wish that I had written, “Beyond the Sea” done famously by Bobby Darin. Such a euphoric song with beautiful imagery in my head every time I listen to it!
