Pop band New Rules brought the roof down at their headline show at Shepherd’s Bush, London on Friday night.

The British/ Irish three-piece including Nathan Lambert, Ryan Meaney and Alec McGarry rose to fame on TikTok during lockdown and are more recently known for making songs including their fan’s names.
And this show was no different, they asked a girl in the crowd for her name then mixed it into a brief cover of ‘Jolene’ by Dolly Parton.
Their two opening acts, both named Nathan (!) brought us energy, dancers, and great vocals. Nathan Gurd opened with his two dancers who gave us a highly coordinated, smooth and exciting routine. He covered ‘driver’s license’ by Olivia Rodrigo which the fans loved, yelling out every single word!
Nathan Smoker, known for his appearance on the U.K. show The Voice was the second opener. He gave us a chilling rendition of ‘Human’ by Rag’n’Bone Man and held the stage on his own.
New Rules’ fanbase were eagerly awaiting their performance, chanting the band’s name in anticipation. And they were not disappointed, starting with their newly released single ‘Really Wanna Dance With You,’ the band gave us perfect harmonies, insane energy and great banter.
Is That A New Single Release We Hear?
They played us their new single ‘Cheers’ which is out December 3rd and encouraged everyone to grab a drink and “cheers” with them. They gave us a mash up of their unreleased song ‘Go The Distance’ and ‘Stay’ by The Kid Laroi.
With a strong fanbase, great vocals, and an exciting set of unreleased singles just waiting to be published, what’s not to love with New Rules?
