NYC. If I don't have coffee: I'm at a show.
Houndmouth makes us feel at home in ‘Sedona’ at Webster Hall this past week. Based out of New Albany, Indiana, we here at THP caught hit blues group Houndmouth at their sold-out show in NYC. And we were hooked. News flash: if you are riding the indie folk train like us (and are loving our review of Charlie Parr’s Last of the Better Days Ahead) you will too.

Just to give you the rundown on all things Houndmouth, check out their latest video release for ‘Las Vegas’ that definitely needs more love.
Following the sophomore release of Good For You, the Indiana-band has embraced their breezy, folksy style with a sound that makes us feel like a friend telling us a story. And we want to not only sing – but scream these lyrics along. If there’s a reason the name sounds familiar, you probably heard their viral hit, ’Sedona’ off of their sophomore album Little Neon Limelight back in 2015.
See below for a mix of tracks we recommend listening to, plus some we got lucky to hear live. You’ll thanks us later.
SET LIST:
- ‘Make it to Midnight’
- ‘Sedona’
- ‘McKenzie’
- ‘Comin’ Around Again’
- ‘Miracle Mile’
- ‘Darlin’
- ‘Ride or Die’
- ‘Las Vegas’
