Michael Clifford: oh, how we love our guitar god, from his rocker locks to his sick sense of fashion. But what we love the most are those vocals of his — vocals that have the capacity to make our ‘Jet Black Heart’ break in only the best ways from day one. DAY ONE, BESTIES. So, naturally, we want them on 5SOS5. NATURALLY.
Unfortunately, those angelic vocals we’ve grown so attached to were tragically missing in CALM. And don’t get us wrong! We love CALM and sing about the red, red desert healing our blues at least 20 1,000 times a week, we still miss the essence of 5 Seconds of Summer that exists only when 4/4 use their mics.
And, if Twitter is any indication, the 5SOS fandom feels the same way. We may or may not have been bopping out to Meet You There Tour: Live again when we noticed that our timeline started going a little bonkers over our favorite Twitch streamer. And we peeled ourselves away from Wattpad our headphones to see what was up. Michael. Michael was up. So true, 5SOSfam. SO TRUE.
Apparently, there is a movement from the masses demanding Moose’s dad get right up front and center with a few moments of his own for the next album. We can only pray that they’re heard. Because some things are just needed and one of those things is Michael solos amen. 🙏 (And if you see our own tweets mixed in, just look away)
So, 5SOS, if you hear us (because we totally know you read us, right? RIGHT?), please take our urgent pleas into consideration. It’s for the children. And the whales. And our ears. Please and thankyousomuchamen.
