We Definitely Had ‘Fun’ with Terror Jr at SXSW

Bringing the party tunes but leaving us in deep thought with their socio-politically charged lyrics,Terror Jr blessed the Empire Garage stage with their presence last week during SXSW where they shared the stage with an eclectic line up including okayceci and T-Pain, and boy, were we in for a treat!

Making the most of the short set, we got a nice mix of tracks from various projects as we danced and sang along to their roundup of tunes. Giving us some of our favorites and even a nice, sped-up version of ‘Come First,’ we were definitely yearning for more as they left the stage.

Setlist
– ‘Caramel’
– ‘Fun’
– ‘Tongue Tied’
– ‘Come First’
– ‘3 Strikes’

The SXSW set has us waiting in anticipation to see them on tour with french79 but until then, we may have their whole discography on repeat!

And if you haven’t heard of Terror Jr, there’s still time to squeeze in on the hype train! Composed of Lisa Vitale and David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine, Terror Jr buzzed onto the scene in 2016 and have been gaining a dedicated fan base since, us included! Hiding in their danceable hyper-pop tracks, you can expect to hear lyrics that are quite the opposite, speaking on the political and social climate we’ve been facing and giving us messages of social justice along with sick beats. You can watch their latest video below!
