It opens up about her mental health and explores the idea that everybody feels “dead inside” because we hide our feelings away rather than talking them through with people we trust.

The song was made in two days in a dark room, I had a vision that I needed to say goodbye to my depressed self and say hello to the rainbow fairies.

The lyrics plainly admit that it “hurts like hell not to tell someone that we’re quite alone,” reminding us that there’s always someone out there who will listen and hear us out, whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even a support group or hotline.
