‘Everybody’s Dead Inside,’ But Alissic’s New Single Brought Us Life

If you don’t have Alissic on your radar yet, you’re truly missing out. This Brazilian artist based in England has such a unique pop-rock sound with a sinister twist, and her new single ‘Everybody’s Dead Inside’ has really brought her discography to the next level. It opens up about her mental health and explores the idea that everybody feels “dead inside” because we hide our feelings away rather than talking them through with people we trust.

Let’s just say there’s a reason that “Alissic” is just a few letters off from “classic…”

The song was made in two days in a dark room, I had a vision that I needed to say goodbye to my depressed self and say hello to the rainbow fairies.

Alissic

In addition to just being a killer song in general, we love that Alissic uses ‘Everybody’s Dead Inside’ to call attention to the importance of mental health and speaking up for help when you need it. The lyrics plainly admit that it “hurts like hell not to tell someone that we’re quite alone,” reminding us that there’s always someone out there who will listen and hear us out, whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even a support group or hotline.

Alissic is never shy in her dedication to spreading important messages we all need to hear and bringing her artistry to life in different ways we could’ve never predicted. This time around, she’s happy to announce that she turned into a fly for this single. It makes sense, given that this track is set to bring her career to new heights. It’s what she deserves!
