The prince of lofi music has made his return! keshi played in Fort Lauderdale for another night of great music and just amazing vibes. If you aren’t familiar with keshi already, here is an article where you can learn more about this incredibly talented musician. But now, let’s dive into his show!
The show opened with Rei Brown, a singer-songwriter with a beautifully smooth and deep-toned voice. He took us to a very serene place for those thirty minutes, and we did not want to leave. One of his recent singles, called ‘forever,’ was written and sung with Keshi, and we can see how these two can come together to write something profound and meaningful. He may not be a well-known name yet, but we think that everyone who does not stan him, should. Some of our favorite tracks include ‘Honest,’ ‘Picture Frames,’ and ‘Street Fighter.’
keshi Has That Unique Touch
keshi’s show started with a bang, courtesy of his song ‘GET IT,’ which has more of a hip-hop vibe (he had us singing “get it, get it, get it” in our heads the whole song). Following that was ‘Somebody,’ another track from his newest album GABRIEL that starts with a nice acoustic guitar chord, joined by a gentle trap beat for the rest of the song, and the juxtaposition of the two makes up the beat of the song. One thing we love about keshi’s music is his interesting use of different sounds and instruments to create varying textures of sound.
Around the middle of the concert, keshi got an electric guitar and asked us if we minded if he plays guitar for a few songs. Of course, we did not – we were just going to sit there and continue to gush over his incredible talent while soaking everything in.
He Is Our ‘ANGEL’
One of the highlights of the show was towards the end during a song called ‘ANGEL,’ where keshi showed off another one of his talents and played a guitar solo to finish it off. The song’s beat includes electric guitar riffs to accompany his smooth, angelic vocals. What can’t he do at this point?
keshi’s concert in Fort Lauderdale was one we will remember for a long time, and we highly recommend anyone who loves music and good vibes to join us in attending. Ready to dive into his discography but not sure where to start? Here are some essential keshi tracks that your playlist needs.
