In her fantasy-inducing new single ‘Friends,’ Florence Arman tells the story of falling in love in the most unexpected way. After dating boys described as, “pretty boys with floppy hair and stupid names,” she’s startled to discover she’s catching feelings for her friend. If you’ve ever experienced something similar (we have!), Florence has done an amazing job at putting it into words. Is this play about us?
We predict ‘Friends’ is for sure your perfect main character song! With electric beats and a catchy chorus, ‘Friends’ will make you dance away the confusion alone in your room at 3am.
‘Friends’ follows a more somber single, ‘Stupid Heart,’ which came out earlier this year. Both are preparing us for the EP she plans to drop in Spring 2023. Although she’s still a newcomer on the scene, we’re sure that her songwriting talent and heartwarming (sometimes sassy) tone will set her apart. She’s already received support from BBC Radio 1 and DIY Mag, amongst others, and that’s just the beginning!
Want to hear more from Florence? Check out ‘Stupid Heart’ and stream her debut EP Out Of The Blue released in July 2021.
