No one has ever spoken more highly of someone than Joe did, when singing about his special someone in this song. It’s one of the most beautifully written love songs of all time. The premise of the song is that the person he’s singing about is everything good in the world. When talking about the injustice of trying to find a word to describe the person he says “It would be like smothering a star or covering a work of art”. Excuse us while we melt!

‘Someone To You’ is the happiest love song. It just fills us with pure joy. A moment of silence for the best couple of all time, Lydia Night and Dylan Minnette. Lydia of The Regrettes is dating Dylan of Wallows and wrote this song about him and it’s just *chef’s kiss*. It makes references to movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and also Wallows song ‘Pulling Leaves Off Trees,’ it’s just too good. And Lydia describing Dylan’s “blueberry eyes” excuse us while we sob. This song is just pure love. It’s so sweet and we want to dance around a room with the person we love to it immediately.

‘You Are In Love’ by Taylor Swift

Did you really think we’d make it a whole playlist all about love songs and only include one song by the queen of love songs? Not possible. ‘You Are In Love’ is like a step-by-step look at how two people fall in love. It’s so beautiful. This is one of the slowest songs on the list but it had to be here. If the emotion of love were a song, it would be this once. We feel so warm and hopeful of that one true love every time we hear it.

‘Young And In Love’ by Ingrid Michaelson

We had to end it with this super upbeat poppy good time. Young love is often underestimated even though it’s so fierce and real.
