New Hope Club Has Arrived With A ‘L.U.S.H’ New Sound

New Hope Club

If you haven’t heard of New Hope Club, then we must be talking to someone who is severely missing out because this band has been killing it in their breakout year as one of the fastest-growing boybands in the UK. With 6 releases already this year, New Hope Club has no sign of slowing down.

With a surge of artists craving authenticity and ownership over their work, New Hope Club is leading this in 2022 after having a complete rebrand during the pandemic. All three boys, Blake, George, and Reece, were unhappy with the direction the band was taking and the sound they were creating. Taking a lot more inspiration from the sounds of their favorite artists, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Fleetwood Mac, the trio has adopted an array of different aspects and has created something truly special.

With another double release from the British band, previously releasing ‘Girl Who Does Both’ and ‘Getting Better,’ ‘Call Me a Quitter’ and ‘Whatever,’ all of which have been produced by New Hope Club’s own Blake Richardson. The band has released ‘L.U.S.H’ and ‘Walk It Out,’ and we’re once again introduced to another side of New Hope Club’s eclectic and expansive sound and if there’s something we love… it’s range.

‘L.U.S.H’

‘L.U.S.H,’ ‘Love You So Hard,’ is nothing short of a pop anthem. The song begins with the band’s staple guitar sound and opens with Blake’s strong vocals. The boys sing about a woman whose love “tears me apart.”Something the band seems to have adopted is a chanting bridge, and it’s nothing less than absolutely spectacular.

‘Walk It Out’

‘Walk It Out’ brings about a dance vibe to the club (laugh). Both of these songs have a stark difference from their earlier work, and yet the New Hope Club sound we all fell in love with in 2017 still shines through. With another shouty chant hook, we can already hear the booming sound of the ever-growing crowds around the world. Playing live is something New Hope Club is known for, and we are nothing less than ecstatic to be hearing these tracks alongside future releases in person in the near future.
