So, Jack The Underdog and Kellin Quinn released their collab ‘Conversation’ earlier this month, and we’re still obsessed with it!
Originally, this track was written by Jack and Amy Asher with the title ‘Given Up,’ but then the two changed it up, and it ended in Jack’s discography, and now we have one of our favorite tracks, ‘Conversations.’ And now, much like the draft of the song, the track had another change, when Kellin Quinn decided to jump on the track, as we got our first collab between Jack and Kellin.
Now whether you are a fan of Jack or Kellin, their track ‘Conversation’ is something you should definitely be listening to. They both bring their own flare to the track, from Jack’s notable electronic sound to Kellin’s stand-out vocals, we just think they fit so well together. So, get this, the track is all about a relationship ending all because it lacked communication, which is a key point in any and all relationship. And the beginning opens up like a transition scene from the late 80s/90s, which we absolutely love. We didn’t expect to love the track as much as we did, but we do. As we mentioned, we think it fits both, and are cheering on Jack The Underdog as he has collabed with someone he looked up to, which we can always get behind.
I really wanted Kellin to feature on one of my songs. He loved ‘Conversation’ and chose that song to collaborate with me and create a new version with him on the track. I’ve been a Sleeping With Sirens fan since I was a young teenager, so it still feels surreal to have a song with someone that influenced and inspired me so much.
