Jack Harlow has had an incredible year! Not only is he 6x Grammy-nominated, but he was also featured on the cover of Rolling Stone, hosted SNL, and sold out his North American tour. To finish out his 2022 reign, Jack has received 12 RIAA certifications. Is there anything this man can’t do? He’s been making his mark on the music industry for years, and it’s amazing to see him finally get the recognition he deserves.
To celebrate all his success, we’ve picked our top five Jack Harlow songs (that all just happened to go platinum)! Call it our impeccable taste.
‘Nail Tech’ – Platinum
As the first single off Come Home the Kids Miss You, ‘Nail Tech’ set the bar for the new Jack Harlow era. With triumphant trumpets behind a catchy flow, it was impossible for this track not to be a hit. Matched with a video that, although random at times, fits the tone perfectly… Jack knocked it out of the park. It’s no wonder it went platinum!
‘I Wanna See Some A**’ – Platinum
If you have a TikTok account, then you’ve surely heard this song a time or two. After becoming a viral trend, you couldn’t scroll through the app without hearing this song in every other video. But we weren’t complaining. Featured on his sophomore EP Sweet Action, this is a staple in Jack Harlow’s discography!
‘First Class’ – 2x Platinum
You know you’ve got a hit on your hands whenever Fergie is involved, and there’s a reason ‘First Class’ was one of the top songs of the year! ‘Glamorous’ is one of those songs that you can’t help but sing along to. Mix it with Jack’s smooth verses, and you have a masterpiece. It was refreshing to see him revive a true pop classic, and spelling glamorous at the top of our lungs again brought us all right back to 2006!
‘Whats Poppin’ – 7x Platinum
Arguably one of Jack’s most notorious singles, ‘What’s Poppin’ might just be the song that put him on the map for new fans. Featured on both Sweet Action and his debut album That’s What They All Say with a music video sprinkled in that deep-fried flavor, it’s the perfect spice to add to your playlist!
Other newly certified songs include hits like ‘Churchill Downs’ (feat. Drake), ‘Thru The Night’ (feat. Bryson Tiller), and ‘Dua Lipa.’ Although not all were released in 2022, it’s no secret that this has been Jack Harlow’s year to shine!
He’s about to end the year strong with his No Place Like Home arena show at KFC’s Yum! Center in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, on December 18.
