We’re Never ‘Running Out Of Time’ To Talk About Paramore!

Since they returned last year, Paramore has continued to give us gift after gift. And they are showing no signs of stopping that pattern anytime soon! The music video for their fourth single from the 6th studio album This Is Why is out now, and we are absolutely obsessed. Not only is this a song all about lack of time management, which is a struggle we can all relate to to some extent, but it is so damn catchy.

The video showcases some breathtaking imagery within the fantasy world we watch Hayley escape to when it’s time for her to abandon reality. This fantasy world features fashion inspired by none other than fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, Alice in Wonderland-like settings, and absolutely insane music performances. Something about escaping into a maladaptive daydream along with Paramore is extremely comforting, and we love that for us!

This release comes after a few performances of ‘Running Out Of Time’ at some live events prior to the release of their new album. They then went on to perform it on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the next week, so you know we’ve had that performance on loop!

When it comes to what other gifts Paramore might have up their sleeve- we literally can’t even begin to imagine! Hearing Hayley talk about ‘Running Out Of Time’ and how it came to be has also just made us cross our fingers for an in-depth analysis of every song! Hayley said this about the track:

“When we first started writing the album I wanted to challenge myself to write about ordinary things. I am horrific at time management and that feels about like the most mundane thing anyone could talk about… seemed like a fun challenge.”
