Those are the ones we never stopped thinking about once we heard they were coming our way. ‘Magical‘ is most definitely one of those songs. And oh my god, we were so right to be this excited.
‘Magical’ might be Fränkel’s first release of the year, but we have our fingers crossed that it isn’t the last! Every single thing he touches turns into absolute gold. With a total of 2 million streams across his streaming platforms, we have no doubts about the gifts he must have up his sleeve for us. This track is somewhat like a companion to a previous release of Cimo’s, ‘Closed The Door.’
‘Closed The Door’ showcases the perspective of when you’re in a relationship you should have left a long time ago. Sometimes we hold onto things or stay in situations that no longer serve us even when we know it’s time for us to go. And Cimo puts those complex emotions into beautifully woven lyrics in this track. So it’s no surprise that ‘Magical’ is equally mesmerizing. In this track, Fränkel shows us the flipside of that when you look back at a relationship after you’ve had the time you need away from it all. And just like we’d expect, his velvety vocals and smooth melodies take us into our best headspace.
