It’s everything we love about his music rolled into one emotional package, bringing a new depth to his artistry and reminding us that there’s no shame in letting out your feelings or needing to grieve a future that never happened.
This song is about that disappointing feeling you get in your partner after they give up on you. I wrote and produced this myself and kept it unreleased for a long time. After revisiting it a year after its creation, it hit me like the first time I made it and I realized how raw and honest it was. I hope you enjoy this one, it’s vulnerable.

The lyrics throughout the song tell such a vivid story about losing hope in a relationship, and the music video brings that to life in such a thought-provoking way. It follows an older couple through the trials of their relationship as one battles substance abuse, only to die by overdose before they get to work through things. It alternates between clips of their happiness and clips of their fights, and it’s such a powerful metaphor for how love can be so healing, but only if we let it into our lives and fight to protect it.

It gives us similar vibes to his 2022 track ‘believe’ in a way – that song is all about questioning whether the person you love even believes in love to begin with and whether pain can really make you stronger when it hurts that deeply.
