Who Is Landon Pigg?

Before we start, we wanted you to have more info about this amazing artist. An emotional Leo, he was born on August 6th, 1983, in Nashville, USA. Maybe you heard his name before? Maybe something other than music? Then you would be right! He started his acting career in Whip It, the roller derby movie, and also appeared in The Perks of Being a Wallflower in 2012.

Movies opened Landon to a new type of experience, but it was music that made him connect with his fans. He kept on making soundtracks, two of which being Shrek and The Kissing Both 3, but where did it all start?

It was in 2006 when he took his acoustic guitar and started singing out his emotions, and released an EP that started him on an endless journey.

‘Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop’

We are off to a strong start, one of our favorites. There is something about coffee shops that brings all the aesthetics for any situation you can imagine, but undoubtedly falling in love is the most beautiful scenario. Landon brings us the perfect soundtrack. The song narrates how you begin to realize that this person means more to you, feel that they understand you, and that you are actually falling in love.

I think that possibly, maybe I’m falling for you
No one understands me quite like you do
Through all of the shadowy corners of me

‘Can’t Let Go’

With this next song, we delve into a hard contrast, from falling in love to realizing it was never mutual. The hardest part of facing an ending love that once was everything to you. Landon Pigg handled the harsh emotions of it all so well, creating a song that has an acoustic version, which has a way of making it way deeper and more emotional. With his sweet voice and chords, it feels like an old story.

Well you’re the closest thing, I have, to bring up in a conversation
About love that didn’t last, but I could never call you mine
Because I could never call myself yours, and if we were really meant to be
Well then we’d justify destiny, it’s not that our love died it just never really bloomed

‘If I’m Saying Nothing’

While love often needs no explanation, it is such a complex emotion that makes us run out of words when we try to express how much we feel when we love someone. Landon nailed this song expressing just a single aspect of love, of a time when you admire the person in front of you. Where you feel every detail when you don’t want to break the silence, longing to keep on admiring and hoping that love is forever.

All of them just proves that Landon is a musical genius, an emotional captivator, and such a sweet person, sharing with his fans all his projects, working hard, and always making our hearts speak.
