‘Circles’
When we heard those introductory guitar strums for the first time, we knew we were in for something special with ‘Circles!’ It’s all about the back-and-forth of a relationship that was “doomed from the get-go,” but the two keep colliding nonetheless. It felt like such a refreshing change of pace back in late 2019, and it’s still just as exciting three and a half years later. And can we talk about that amazing, medieval-themed music video? Sometimes making it work with the one you love feels as difficult as rescuing a princess from a tower in a village full of zombies and burning suits of armor, but it’s worth putting up a fight if you care about them that much.
BONUS: His Next Diamond Song?
While celebrating his musical past, Post is also welcoming us into a new era of his art with ‘Chemical,’ an indie pop-inspired jam that would make the perfect soundtrack for a coming-of-age movie. The lyrics talk about being in love with someone that you “couldn’t leave… if [you] tried” and ditching parties to spend time together… even if you wind up fighting in a bar later.
