Which Song From Lovejoy’s Wake Up & It’s Over Are You Based On Your Minecraft Choices?

Last week, we briefly talked about how much we love the new Lovejoy album, Wake Up & It’s Over in our Must-Hear New Music. And you already know how much we love, ‘Call Me What You Like.’ We kept it brief on purpose because we had this in store for you! Before we get into the quiz, let’s go over a few of our favorite songs from the album.

‘Portrait of a Blank State’

For a song about being boring, this song is so fun. The bass especially is a standout feature. It’s honestly the best possible way to start off an album.

‘It’s Golden Hour Somewhere’

We’re absolutely in love with this song, especially because of the theme. It addresses wealth inequality, while still being an absolute banger of a song. The music video truly captures the theme of the song. But there is a major trigger warning in the video’s description, so please keep that in mind before watching! You can stream the song above or you can check out the music video here.

While we could just do an overall review of the album, we thought we’d shake things up a bit with a quiz! Since lead singer Wilbur Soot is known for his Minecraft videos on his YouTube channel, we thought we’d combine the two. There are six possible results, one for each song on the album.

‘Portrait of a Blank State’
‘Call Me What You Like’
‘Consequences’
‘Warsaw’
‘Scum’
‘It’s Golden Hour Somewhere’

Which song did you get? Was it what you were expecting? Let us know in the comments, on Facebook, Instagram, or by tweeting us @TheHoneyPOP!
