Maisie Peters Ghost Wrote Our Life Again With ‘Two Weeks Ago’

We love Maisie Peters for more reasons than we could possibly count. Maisie constantly shows us that emotions are meant to be embraced and feelings are meant to be fully felt. It’s just like the kind of love and support you get from a sister followed by the kick in the butt you need from a best friend. Her newest single from her upcoming release, The Good Witch, might have you sitting in your shower for a few hours. But we promise, ‘Two Weeks Ago’ is worth it.

Acting as the third release from her upcoming sophomore release, ‘Two Weeks Ago’ is described as “my saddest song ever.” by Maisie herself. This is coming from the mastermind that wrote ‘Hollow.’ Terrified is an understatement for how we felt about listening to this track for the first time. And we were right, it ripped us limb from limb, with no crumbs whatsoever. But even through our tears, we can’t help but obsess over the beauty within this track. It paints an image of a pool of grief that you can soak your remorse away in alongside Maisie.

More The Good Witch Please!

Speaking of soaking away with Maisie, it’s nearly time for her North American Tour to start! She has said that she’s worried about making it through performances of this one without crying. And honestly? Same here girly. We’ve already directly tied this to at least two major situations in our lives and knowing us, we’ll find more. Now, don’t take this as us saying we don’t want to hear ‘Two Weeks Ago’ on the The Good Witch Comes To North America Tour. Because we most definitely do want to hear this ballad live. Truthfully, our list of wants for this upcoming tour might be a bit intense. But at least we can use her music to help us cope if we don’t hear all of our faves.
