Hey Honey Poppers, we are back with more Hozier content! So, as we all know, we did talk about ‘Francesca’ already, and if you don’t know…we loved it! The music video was simple and grungy and you’ll never guess who directed it, or maybe you can, because Anthony Byrne had a hand in directing a couple of Hozier’s other MV’s (which we will be talking about later). Now Anthony, all we can say is you are a legend with directing anything and everything. Hozier, along with his very talented band, looked so cool, and Anthony really translated the track to the music video so well! As we said, they all looked really cool, and it does hold a special place in our hearts.
Now, this isn’t our only favorite Hozier video; we have a ton and will be blessing your eyes and ears. And if you don’t know much about Hozier or want to see more of Hozier, well, we’ve got you covered! Here are some of our favorite Hozier videos to stream alongside ‘Francesca.’
Hozier – ‘Take Me To Church’ (Subway Video) aka “Someone Should Really Sign This Guy”
If you don’t know about Hozier popping up in a NY subway and singing his heart out to a couple of his tracks, where have you been? Hozier blessed the ears of both fans and non-fans alike with a surprise performance, and we will be forever jealous. And yes, we’ll always be those people who will bring this moment up, so if you ever need someone to talk to about this day, you know where to find us.
Hozier Covering ‘Do I Wanna Know’
This has got to be one of our favorite covers to come from the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. Hozier gracefully covered Arctic Monkey’s ‘Do I Wanna Know’ and made it his own. Everyone involved did so amazingly, from Hozier’s vocals, to the backup vocals, and the instrumentalists. We’re glad our begging paid off and that it’s now on Spotify; its 100% going to make its way into our top 10 most streamed tracks.
Hozier – ‘Dinner & Diatribes’
Speaking of Anthony Byrne, he also directed the MV for ‘Dinner & Diatribes!’ and honestly, when learning of everything he has directed, it really does make sense. This video is chaotic in the best way, the acting was top-notch, and Hozier looked very creepy. Anya Taylor Joy was iconic, as always. Plus, the story it told was exquisite.
Hozier – ‘All Things End’
Okay, honestly, this is probably one of our absolute favorite music videos from Hozier. The storyline is so heartbreaking, and we did shed a few tears. But Hozier looked very pretty, and the cinematography was amazing. Plus, we can’t get over the part where the doctors start dancing; it’s our favorite part.
Now we could’ve gone and on, but we’ll stop right here before we get a little carried away. So, what’s your favorite Hozier video? Did you love the ‘Francesca’ MV? Let us know in the comments down below or over on Twitter @thehoneypop, and don’t forget to talk to us on Facebook and Instagram!
