There are so many songwriting themes that we absolutely adore. We can connect and relate to our favorite artists’ feelings, making us want to share their talent with everyone. That’s how we feel when we listen to August Royals’ newest single: ‘Love You ‘Till I Die!‘ This beautiful song has been on repeat ever since we listened to it for the first time, and we want to express how much we love it! 🥰
‘Love You ‘Till I Die’ is a gorgeous love letter. We have enjoyed angrier songs in the past about not being corresponded with the love we deserve, but August’s softer tone expresses the opposite. What happens when we want to express how much we adore someone but we feel scared about messing up our happy moments?
We really love how the gentle beat and the guitars make the lyrics seem more heartfelt. The verses have the perfect flow through the instrumental, with our favorite bit being the most real verse of the song. While comparing “you leave things better than you found it” and “I always watch things break around me,” the song shows how that scary feeling of self-doubt can make you feel anxious around the person you love the most.
We feel blessed that August has been able to put our thoughts into words with ‘Love You ‘Till I Die.’ It is a perfect example of how we shall confess our most vulnerable feelings to someone.
