3 Lyrics From Tell Me About Tomorrow By jxdn That Cure Our Depression!

We at THP love jxdn! We’ve gushed about his undeniable stage presence and adorably wild personality, but what about his lyricism? His debut album, Tell Me About Tomorrow, came out in 2021 and has rocked us to our core ever since. Tackling crucial mental health topics like depression and anxiety head-on, jxdn created a one-of-a-kind work of art that many of his fans can relate to.

“Pedal ’til my heart breaks. Made of glass, made it shatter at a fast pace, yeah.”

A heart is a fragile thing. Even if we pretend we’re okay, there can be so many instances that it can break. Whether that be the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship, there’s always a risk of us getting hurt. Sometimes you wonder if it was even worth it, asking yourself, “Do they even think about me?” The important thing is to keep loving because we know that love conquers all.

“And all these angels and demons keep shoutin’ and screamin’. I’m fallin’ from Eden.”

Sometimes, the demons in our heads can be so loud we feel hopeless. They leave us overwhelmed and anxious as if we’re losing anything good in our lives. While we understand the world is all about balance, where negatives exist, so do positives, which can’t always be our reality. ‘Angels & Demons’ is a raw take on what that darkness can look like, and it’s important to highlight.

“Promise me you won’t say goodbye right now. Hold on when you have your doubts. Tell me about the things you don’t know and I’ll tell you about tomorrow.”

Of course, we can’t talk about the album without talking about the title track itself. Consider this a mandatory mention, not a notable mention. ‘Tell Me About Tomorrow’ somberly reminds us that it’s okay to not be okay, sometimes, and the importance of never giving up. We know that we’re never alone in this world, and tomorrow can always be a brighter day.

It can be challenging to have these conversations. Lucky for us, we have jxdn, who allows his talents and allows his vulnerability to show. By giving his fans the courage and space to do the same, Tell Me About Tomorrow changed the lives of many and will continue to for years to come. Thank you, jxdn, for making such an incredible album!
