We Needed ‘Keep Going Back’ In Our Lives
Sometimes, it hurts to look back at the moments you’ve spent with people that are not beside you anymore. We’re humans, we’re allowed to feel grief and nostalgia, but some of those moments have helped us feel at the top of the world. ‘Keep Going Back’ is a track that allows us to embrace that happy grief, making sure we’re able to treasure those happy memories forever.
Bre always knows how to reach our hearts with her songwriting, and this song is no different. She wrote this song with her sister in mind, who passed away a decade ago. Although Bre knows that grief never truly goes away, she wanted to give us a track that helps us with those feelings. We’re allowed to smile and talk about our favorite memories with others to remember those that are no longer with us. We’re allowed to go back to those times we laughed together. To make peace with our past. We can’t thank Bre enough for ‘Keep Going Back,’ and for the emotions we’re able to feel while listening to this track.
