Sierra Annie’s New Single ‘Red (Sierra’s Version)’ Is Every Swifties’ Dream Come True

Haven’t we all been waiting for a pop-rock album from Taylor Swift since her performance of ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together‘ and ‘I Knew You Were Trouble‘ at The 1989 World Tour? Well, Sierra Annie has fulfilled part of our wish with a pop-punk cover of Taylor Swift‘s ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ and it has us screaming. Listen to ‘Red (Sierra’s Version)!’

Sierra Annie is an alternative pop-punk artist who entered the punk-rock scene in the early 2022s. Annie works as a co-writer and collaborator, with 4 original singles! She is known for her contrast between inspiring confidence and self-love in women and heartbreak cynicism. And we love.

Sierra Annie’s talent really shines through with the cover of ‘Red (Taylor’s version),’ putting a pop-punk twist to what is majorly a pop/country song. Going from country to punk? Insane, right? You have to be crazy talented to achieve that impeccably. And Sierra Annie is just that!

Taylor Swift’s ‘Red (Taylor’s version)’ consists of many instruments but the bouzouki and Hammond B3 really make it stand out. If you don’t know what a bouzouki or Hammond B3 is (we didn’t either), you can search it up on Google! The bouzouki and Hammond B3 give the song its country vibe and make it sound more dancey and less angsty.

On the other hand, Sierra Annie’s ‘Red (Sierra’s Version)’ mostly uses an electric guitar and killer drums to create a head-banging song. We honestly get a headache every time we finish listening to the song because we banged our heads too hard. Annie infused her own creative talent and style into ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ flawlessly. Not to mention, Annie’s voice is the perfect addition to the song to make it so perfectly pop-punk. She creates an energetic, infectious sound that gives a remarkably stunning pop-punk twist to ‘Red (Taylor’s Version).’ Annie incorporates the pop-punk vibe into a song about heartbreak without making it sound aggressive or letting it lose its meaning. Essentially, she gives the song a raging cathartic vibe rather than a sad cathartic vibe.

In conclusion, as die-hard Swifties, we believe Sierra Annie created the perfect pop-punk cover of ‘Red (Taylor’s Version),’ and she now has us begging for more. Can you imagine ‘State of Grace (Sierra’s Version)?’ We would pass out in excitement. It’s not a want, it’s a need!
