Purple Kiss released one of the greatest K-Pop songs of 2023 earlier this year, and we’ve been counting down the days since then to see what they would bring…They did not disappoint! Serving us a joyful, bright song and amazing b-sides, Purple Kiss shows once again they can do it all with FESTA and their new title track, ‘7HEAVEN!’

After taking on a The Shining-inspired aesthetic, Purple Kiss did a complete 180. With ‘7HEAVEN,’ Purple Kiss are giving us some of the most immaculate Barbie vibes we’ve seen. And they’re incredible at it. Mixing the Barbie pink aesthetic with Y2K influence, Purple Kiss are owning everything with this one. It’s truly one of their best aesthetic and stylings, which means a lot for Purple Kiss. They’re always killing it.

‘7HEAVEN’ is all about having a fun and loving life. It’s lively, it’s bright, carefree, and full of joy. Their vocals sound heavenly as usual, and they once again have incredible and addicting melodies with an insane choreography. You wouldn’t expect a dance break in a song like this one, yet they ate it up. These girls can do it all and we would never get bored of watching them. ‘7HEAVEN’ is all about celebrating life and we’re here for it.

There are two b-sides in FESTA, and we’re in love with both. ‘Biscuit’ is more lowkey and takes inspiration from slow R&B songs. It showcases a more soft side to their vocals and makes ‘Biscuit’ feel like a dream. ‘Mistake,’ on the other hand, makes us want to cry our eyes out. It describes the sad ending of a relationship when it feels like it was useless and a simple mistake. The beautiful melody mixed with the beat in the back makes this such a special and emotional song.

We can always count on Purple Kiss to give us the best of the best with their comebacks. With ‘7HEAVEN’ and two incredible b-sides, Purple Kiss has us at the tip of their fingers.
