It’s been an insane time for classic rock fans around the globe as The Rolling Stones, U2, and Peter Gabriel all released new music this last weekend. So not only was it a full moon, but the soundtrack we got with it is absolutely rocking our socks off. There’s a reason all three of these are names that will forever be a part of music history. And it’s incredible to see that some things, like insane talent, never change! We can’t get enough of these releases, and we’ve also got all the deets!
Peter Gabriel – ‘This Is Home’
‘This Is Home’ isn’t just a full moon release and the tenth track from his album i/o. Gabriel describes the track as a love song and even features contributions from the Swedish male voice choir, Orphei Drängar. This might not be the end result of the ‘This Is Home,’ but it still swallows you whole regardless. Peter Gabriel finishes his North American tour this month in Houston, Texas, on October 21st. So that means you still have time to secure tickets if you haven’t yet!

U2 – ‘Atomic City’
As if opening up the new Las Vegas Sphere wasn’t insane enough, U2 also released a new single titled ‘Atomic City.‘ The video comes paired with its equally brilliant music video that backs its love to their fans as Bono said himself while talking about ‘Atomic City,’ “It’s a love song to our audience … ’where you are is where I’ll be.’” With a span of 25 Sphere shows in their immediate future, U2 continues to blow our minds and transform live music as we know it!

The Rolling Stones Feat. Lady Gaga – ‘Sweet Sounds Of Heaven’
The Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga have teamed up again with the release of ‘Sweet Sounds of Heaven.’ We haven’t stopped thinking about how much we love this pairing since their 2012 performance of ‘Gimme Shelter’ with Gaga! The track also serves as the second single from the upcoming album, Hackney Diamonds, which releases everywhere on October 20th! Mick Jagger also sat down with Zane Lowe and Apple Music to talk about ‘Sweet Sounds of Heaven and all things Hackney Diamonds. And yes, he even talked about the Paul McCartney feature on the upcoming album!
