Heists, Heists, And More Heists!
Do you love the heist trope? Then this book is definitely for you! Not only does the book start off in the middle of one, but the book is filled with them! The idea of a heist competition was unlike anything we had read before. Plus, we loved learning more about Ross’ approach to her assignments, like her skill in planning exit strategies.
A Great Cast Of Characters
The characters in Thieves’ Gambit were all exciting to read about, with each having their own backstory and personality. Ross’ fellow competitors captured our attention and following them throughout the course of the competition was a ton of fun to read about. Speaking of Ross, we enjoyed seeing her grow throughout the course of the book. Through heartbreaking betrayals and dangerous situations, we couldn’t get enough!
An Action Packed Plot
With the main character coming from a famous family of thieves, you know from the beginning that Thieves’ Gambit will be filled with action. You can feel the tension and excitement throughout the book. Especially because Ross has so much at stake. After all, she is competing in a deadly competition! From the beginning, the writing style captured our attention, and with that cliffhanger ending, we can’t wait to get our hands on the sequel!
