Braden Bales – CATALYST
Kicking off this round-up with an artist we’ve completely fallen in love with over the last year just seems perfectly fitting! We first discovered Braden Bales after seeing the viral TikTok featuring the incredible Elyse Meyers singing Braden’s song ‘CHRONICALLY CAUTIOUS,’ and we’ve been hooked ever since! Braden’s music has an infectious quality where once you listen to a track, you simply just can’t get it out of your head, and we’ve found that to be true with his entire new EP!
‘I WRITE SONGS ABOUT YOU’ is our standout track, but we’re sure this will be changing daily.

Caroline Romano – ‘Tell Her I Said Hi’
Caroline Romano is a mainstay here at THP, and one listen to ‘Tell Her I Said Hi’ will tell you why! Caroline represents the best of modern-day pop music, with the most catchy of choruses, lyrics that feel like they are mirroring your life, and vocals that just keep getting better.

FLETCHER – ‘Eras of Us’
We’re just like you, obsessed with every project FLETCHER releases and in awe of the artist we’ve watched her blossom into! We’re early fans; we’re talking in 2016 ‘Live Young Die Free’ was a song we were tweeting about being a perfect pop song; it runs that deep. ‘Eras Of Us,’ feels like the idealistic way to kick off a new era of FLETCHER, to kick off a new wave of stories to tell.
This is one of the best post-breakup tracks we’ve heard of the year.

The Driver Era – live at the greek
You can always count on one thing: if The Driver Era is releasing new music, we will be right behind them talking about how everyone needs to listen immediately. The Driver Era is the indie-pop-rock band of our dreams, and they are only gaining a larger and larger audience as time goes on, and rightfully so!
While we love every track they release, our favorite way to hear The Driver Era is live. It’s just an otherworldly experience, live at the greek gives us that from the comfort of our own headphones. Everyone say thank you Rocky and Ross.
Our favorite from off of live at the greek is ‘Afterglow’ it’s just always going to be that song of theirs.

Simu Liu – ‘Warm’
From staring at our favorite movie of the year, Barbie, to making some of our favorite music of the year, Simu Liu has truly made 2023 his year! We already had a deep appreciation for ‘Warm’ and for the artistic direction it took Simu Liu in. It has the best of the visuals just multiply that by ten. Truly, they match the track to a T.
We need a full Simu Liu album immediately.

Alexander Stewart – if only you knew
As we sit here writing this, we’ve just finished watching Alexander Stewart on the Zach Sang show and have left with an even deeper appreciation for Alexander and this incredible record. The EP, if only you knew, is a six-track project that honestly, could be used as a blueprint for how to convey true honesty in songwriting. Each track feels like a glimpse into Alexander’s soul, and that’s a rarity to find within music!
Our favorite track is ‘he never will.’
