Charlotte Sands is a shining gem destined to be in the spotlight. That’s something that she’s proven this year over and over again, as well as in the years before. ‘blindspot’ is yet another new song that proves Charlotte Sands’ talents know no bounds. Honey, we’re in love.
‘blindspot’ is all about having feelings for a person that you’re friends with and having to see them develop their own feelings for other people, which is likely a relatable meaning for a lot of people in the world.
It’s about the experience of watching their life from the sidelines and having to witness them have feelings for other people. This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written and was very much sonically inspired by artists like Michelle Branch, Jewel, and so many others. It reminds me of some of my favorite songs from the 90s, and I am so proud and excited for it to be out in the world.

And obviously, we need to talk about the music video that Charlotte Sands put out for ‘blindspot.’
We love the way that the lighting is so warm in the ‘blindspot’ music video while the lyrics tell a sadder, more emotional story. It’s a gorgeous contrast.

Watching as you’re falling for her
And it’s about time
Where you come running back cause you got hurt
I’m in your blindspot
Waiting in the dark, is it my turn?
Or am I stuck here standing in line?”
And the way that Charlotte basically steps out of the ‘blindspot’ to sing these lyrics in the spotlight? Beautiful. It’s like she’s finally voicing how she feels out loud through the microphone.
