And want to know something perfect? Charlotte Sands has just released her brand-new single, ‘get over it!’ Aren’t we the luckiest? It’s another taster of what’s to come on her debut album, can we start over?, which arrives on January 24th!

So let’s chat about these Charlotte Sands songs and how they can help you ‘get over it,’ whatever your “it” may be!

‘get over it’

Charlotte Sands’ ‘get over it’ is an alt-rock toast to all those who live in an infatuated fantasy land and ignore that the relationship no longer exists.

I wanted the song to feel upbeat and happy and reflect the moments where you’re allowing yourself to be delusional about a non-existent relationship with this person. There’s something about letting go of what you’re supposed to do and instead leaning into the chaos of the situation that I felt inspired by and also very much related to.

We love this track, but really, we love everything Charlotte puts out there. ‘get over it’ can be the song to inspire your next action regarding relationships. Time to let go? Realize the good doesn’t outweigh the bad? Charlotte Sands has your back no matter which direction the tides are turning.

‘Lost’

Feeling like a bit of an outsider? Maybe a little out of your depth, too? Same, honey. Charlotte Sands’ ‘Lost’ is all about the challenges of youth, life, and everything surrounding the two.

“I’m just a little bit lost,
You’re a little bit lost,
We’re a little bit lost,
But that’s okay,
Hey, hey, hey.”

As the lyrics in this legendary Charlotte Sands song indicate, we all get a little bit lost in our lives, and that’s okay because you know what we can do? We can be a little bit lost together, and then we’re not alone. Because, sometimes, it’s better to push through and get over life’s obstacles together. You never know who’s feeling the same way. Always check in with your fam, chosen or otherwise, and your besties!

‘Bad Day’

There’s something about this song that always draws us back to it. Maybe it’s the catchy chorus that we belt out along with Charlotte Sands, or perhaps it’s simply the lyrics that have us addicted, but either way, ‘Bad Day’ is such an anthem.

“I had a no good, really bad, messed up day,
And I’m stressed out, super sad, not okay,
I’m never getting better, no, it’s not a phase,
And I like it that way.”
