Whether you’ve just discovered jxdn or you’ve been here since ‘Comatose,’ you are a rockstar! We’d also bet that in that time, jxdn and his music have impacted you in more ways than you can count. From the very beginning, jxdn has created real, raw, and authentic songs that aren’t afraid to shy away from the sides of life some would rather not talk about. With vulnerability and authenticity at the forefront, jxdn has continued to let us know that we aren’t alone.
We at the Honey POP can’t put into words all the ways he and his music have gotten us through some of the hard times and taught us some important lessons, but we’re definitely going to try.
“Some days I wish I could disappear…”
We’ve had those days where we feel invisible… sometimes we have those days we wish we were invisible. In those moments, jxdn has allowed us to feel seen. He’s open about his struggles as well as his triumphs, reminding us that both are necessary to grow! Also, by building a community within his fanbase, you’re sure to find someone you can relate to. It could be on Twitter, or it could even be in line to a show; when you’re a rockstar, you’re family and they’ll always see you.
“Hold on when you have your doubts…”
Life is going to beat you down; you’re going to make decisions that are right. Some may be wrong. Even through the regrets and doubts, it’s important to hold on. There’s always going to be a new day and you have the chance to start over and make it brighter. You’ll never know, though, if you give up.
“No weapon left to guard my heart…”
When you’ve been hurt, it can be easier to keep yourself guarded. The more walls you put around your heart, the less likely it is to get broken. But, if you continue to keep your weapons up and your swords drawn, you might chase away genuine love or happiness. We’ve learned it’s okay to let those walls come down because for love? That’s worth it.

Just like there’s dark and light to everyone and every situation, it’s inevitable that there’s going to be those conflicting voices in our heads. We all have the potential to give into the dark, but we also have the potential to ignore those voices screaming to keep us going toward that light. All you have to do is believe!
