It’s Tori Kelly season all year, every year. 2024 has seen so many of our faves going on tour, including Mother Tori! The Purple Skies Tour 💜 will head full force around North America beginning April 12 in Ventura, California. We will be in attendance at each show, no that’s not an exaggeration, and hoping to hear these six iconic Tori songs (plus more, of course!).
‘High Water’
Tori’s newest single, ‘high water,’ 🌊 will definitely be on the setlist! This mellow track reminds us of the old Tori from Unbreakable Smile, one of our favorite albums from 2015! We love how uplifting these lyrics are and the subtle hint at gospel music. We’d love to see Tori tackle a classic R&B or Gospel song!
I mean, can we talk about these iconic vocals!? No one does it like Tori and we can’t wait to hear her stunning voice box live 😍.
‘Paper Hearts’
If you were around for ‘Paper Hearts,’ we love you! This song got us through so much in middle school (yes, we had tribulations at 13 years old) and we always had it on replay on our neon green iPod touch.
Did we forget to mention the iconic dancer Ian Eastwood is featured in this video? Even more of a reason to binge-watch Tori’s videos! We hope that Tori brings out some backup dancers 💃 on the road! If not, we can complete the job!
‘I Was Made For Loving You’
We were made for loving Tori Kelly songs! If we are talking about iconic duos, Ed Sheeran and Tori make it to the top of that list! This song will simply never die and will only get more iconic the older we get.
What if she brings out Ed Sheeran for a special guest appearance…👀
‘Shelter’
Another recent drop, ‘shelter’ is that girl and we hope she opens the tour with this song! I mean when she performed 🎤 this at the Troubadour a few months ago, we were so jealous of everyone in attendance!
Our home and our ‘shelter’ is with Tori ❤️.
‘Hollow’
If you’re ready to get your heart ripped out of your chest, then you’ll want Tori to sing ‘Hollow.’ This song changed lives and continues to do so today in 2024. When we wake up in the morning we scream “AND ONLY YOUR LOVE CAN FILL UP MY CUP” and continue with our day 😁. If Tori doesn’t sing this song, we’re walking out!
Our hearts are never hollow with Tori’s music in our lives.
‘Cut’
THP fans already know how much we love ‘Cut!’ Fans also know how much we love the music video. If Tori recreated the video scenes onstage on tour we’d be so gracious! We love a concept-queen 👑!
