We’re certainly kissing the floor that Blu DeTiger walks on because this music video is pure bliss. Blu takes us back to 2014 with these pop-punk vibes that we are beginning to see more and more across music charts. Blu’s extra flair of punk drew us into her sound even more, and we can’t wait to see how she captures this sound in future music endeavors. Not to mention, she’s cool AF. With a name like Blu and an epic shiny blue bass guitar, she’s awarded all the cool girl points we have to offer. We are now redecorating our bedrooms to match the room in the video – blue fuzzy carpet and all.
“’Kiss’ is about seeing someone after a breakup, realizing why you were wrong for each other but wanting to feel that love again for one more night… It’s about living in that moment. Maybe kissing that person will make me feel what I did back then. It was important to me to dial in the production for this song so that there only needed to be a few elements for it to feel full. I especially love the bass tone on this song. The envelope opening and closing feels like the push and pull of missing someone. It’s my favorite from the whole album.”
