When we think about artists who are pushing genre boundaries and redefining the alt-pop scene, we automatically think of Maggie Lindemann. And this isn’t something that is just coming about with the release of HEADSPLIT, though, it is becoming more refined and delving into deeper levels of perfecting her artistry. SUCKERPUNCH and PARANOIA both were genre-bending records that made us forever fans of Maggie Lindemann.
HEADSPLIT is front to back, our favorite Maggie Lindemann project to date. We went back and listened to the tracks multiple times just in complete awe that we are getting to exist at the same time as an artist who has taken the time to understand her craft at this level.

When choosing the three songs to highlight ‘taking over me’ was the clear front-runner. Maggie’s part in this song sounds very Avril-Evanescence/ early 2000s core and blends perfectly with the more scream-rock-heavy vibes brought in by Jasiah.
This was a collaboration that is what musical dreams are made of.
die for
Maggie Lindemann has earned her stripes in the Rock space by now, but ‘die for’ is when that fully set in for us. She’s a full-fledged rockstar. We genuinely think is going to be one of the songs Maggie Lindemann is going to be most known for. A true staple in her catalog.

Closing off this list with ‘24’ only makes sense, considering we haven’t been able to turn this song off. ‘24’ takes you through all of the emotions of being lost in your mid-twenties, something all of us go through. And that relatability instantly creates a connection with the audience that is deep and personal.
