Sometimes, you just need to turn the volume all the way up when you love a song so much. So that’s what we did today! YOUTHYEAR has created an alt-pop track coated in rock and punk elements with his debut single, ‘Basement,’ and we just know you’re going to love it. There was no way we could keep our speakers down low for this one.
Dressed with themes of addiction and desperate young love, ‘Basement’ was inspired by the personal experiences of YOUTHYEAR. As a result, it means that the lyrics roar a little louder among the deep energy at the core of the track. If you’re into songs that take a swing into the alternative genre while holding their own with rock elements as well as a heavy coating of punk, then this track is perfect for your playlist.
Can you believe that ‘Basement’ is the debut single of YOUTHYEAR? Listening to it, you’d assume he’d been writing his own original songs for years!
