Alright honeybees, we are back with another show review and this time it is for the iconic NOAHFINNCE! He came through Houston for his GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET Tour and you know we had to be in that crowd. If you weren’t aware, we are kind of obsessed with Noah and his music. We even got the chance to interview him before the tour kicked off and you can read that here!
Now without further ado, let’s get into the show review…
We ‘KNOW BETTER’ Than To Miss Seeing NOAHFINNCE In Concert
If you aren’t familiar with Noah, he is an incredible musician from the UK that got his start on YouTube in 2015 when he began posting covers and then in 2017 he opened up about his transition journey. In 2021, he signed with Hopeless Records and he’s been on an upward trajectory with his music since!
We’ve been watching his career for the past couple of years and we just know he is going to go so far. If the crowd in Houston was a foreshadowing, Noah will be massive in the next year or two. Mark our words!
We haven’t seen a crowd that focused on a band in awhile. When Noah asked everyone to get down to the floor and then jump up during one of the songs towards the end of the set, every single person in the room listened… It just shows that Noah has cultivated an audience and fandom that are there for him and are excited to get involved during his live shows.
During the show, Noah spoke a lot about LGBTQIA+ rights and even gave the crowd a number to text during one of the breaks in his set where you could donate to an LGBTQIA+ charity and win a chance to meet him after the show. With the current climate in Texas, we felt so welcome in that crowd and we are sure the rest of the fans felt the same.
Now back to the music! Noah’s setlist was a good mix of some of his older tracks that he released early in his career and ones from his debut album, GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET. The entire show, Noah and his bandmates, Matt and Charlie, were high energy and constantly interacting with the crowd. Which we love to see! Even when Noah played a slower song, he still had the crowd get involved and shine their phone lights, which always gives us goose bumps.
Our favorites NOAHFINNCE songs rfom his debut album have to be: ‘SCUMBAG,’ ‘LOVELY LADIES,’ and the title track, ‘GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET.’
