KISS OF LIFE Prove They’re The Golden Queens Of 5th Gen K-Pop With ‘Midas Touch’

With only a dozen songs under their belt, including four show-stopping solo tracks, KISS OF LIFE already stole our hearts and became a group you need to watch! And now, with their first-ever single album, Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul prove their status as the new golden girls of the K-Pop scene. ‘Midas Touch’ and ‘Nothing’ are must-haves on any empowerment playlist, reminding us to see our worth and step into our power.

The title track, ‘Midas Touch,’ is a 2000s-tinged confidence anthem about how the members of KISS OF LIFE can easily charm any boy they have their eye on. “Count 10, that’s all I need,” Julie proclaims at the beginning of the song – and let it be known that it took less than 10 seconds for us to absolutely fall in love with it! It’s simply dazzling and shows us exactly why KIOF are set to be the it girls of K-Pop’s fifth generation. We also love the fun shoutouts to the girls’ solo tracks from the KISS OF LIFE mini-album!

On the flipside, ‘Nothing’ is a stunning, mid-tempo R&B-pop song that sees KIOF calling out a partner who didn’t consider their feelings during their time together. They ultimately decide that “it’s not worth it” to stay together and step away completely. We’re so glad they see their worth in the end! And can we talk about Belle’s vocal runs in the outro? Absolutely heavenly.

Maybe it’s cheesy to say this, but KISS OF LIFE’s discography seriously gives us life! It’s been nearly a year since their debut, and they’ve never missed with any of their releases so far.
