And we’re absolutely delighted to have ‘Could It Be’ join that rotation ahead of YUQI’s first-ever solo mini-album, aptly named YUQ1. ‘Could It Be’ is the ultimate, sunny crush anthem, seeing YUQI express her feelings for someone and wonder whether they feel the same way for her.

‘Could It Be’ talks about the “magic” feelings of getting closer to a crush, and this lyric captures that rush so well! Even just casual feelings and small interactions can feel so thrilling when you’re falling for someone.
“Look and you’ll find a real rollercoaster, something that people really crave their whole life long…”
Love really can feel like a rollercoaster, yet even with its ups and downs, it can be so worth it! With this line, YUQI seems to acknowledge that things might not always be simple in their relationship, but she’s always willing to enjoy the ride with the one she admires.
“You just swim out, swim out, swim on, baby…”
If you need a good Instagram caption for a cute beach date this summer, this is it! We think this line could have two interpretations – one where YUQI’s crush is metaphorically swimming away from her and the potential of a relationship, and one where they’re swimming in their own feelings for her.
Could YUQI Be Magic?
