Our favorite thing to do is press play in the best new songs by insanely talented groups, and we just found a new Latin trio that will knock your socks off! We’re talking about DARUMAS, a musical act formed by three women who have debuted with a powerful and funky single. We’re absolutely mesmerized by their vibes, so we obviously must share ‘Daruma‘ with all of you! It’s a bop! Let’s get deeper into these amazing ladies and their fantastic track!

DARUMAS is composed by Argentinian bassist Aldana Aguirre, vocalist and guitarist Ceci Leon, who shares Miamian and Cuban roots, and singer Vedala Vilmond, who is originally from Haiti and lives in Chile. We love how these three incredible musicians combined their talent and passion for music to create a discography full of bangers influenced by their culture and preferred musical styles! We can’t wait to see how the group keeps discovering how to intertwine their roots into their songs. They’re going to be essential in our playlists!

‘Daruma’ Has Made Us DARUMAS’ #1 Fan!

If you haven’t instantly fallen in love with ‘Daruma,’ you’re clearly doing something wrong. This single has the grooviest rhythm ever! We can already sense that these girls will become our newest favorite group! We’re happy to admit that their debut track has been played on repeat and shared with everyone we know. It’s so funky and fresh, and the different instruments in the song fit the combination of Latin cultures the group represents. And the vocals? Absolutely chef’s kiss! With a debut that sounds like this, we can’t wait to keep tuning in to all their releases. In the meantime, we will continue singing “darumá, darumá bendito!” 💃
