Let’s Celebrate BTS’s Anniversary With These Special FESTA Memories!

It’s June again, which means FESTA is here! Every year, BTS and ARMY celebrate the first two weeks of June as the lead-up to their debut anniversary begins, and this year is certainly going to be different. This year, most of the members will be enlisted in the military, so the plans compared to previous years are certainly going to feel unusual. But what makes this FESTA so special is that it doubles as a grand return celebration.

Jin’s Greetings

2024’s FESTA takes place just days after our beloved Jin returns, and of course it’s going to be a special occasion! Following completion of his mandatory military service, Jin will be making his first official appearance in an offline event especially for FESTA, known as ‘Jin’s Greetings.’ The event will include Jin himself giving 1,000 lucky ARMY light hugs (or handshakes, depending on their choice) and has been prepared following Jin’s wish to greet and interact with fans in a personal setting. Following ‘Jin’s Greetings,’ the eldest member will then present ’Message from Jin : June 13 2024,’ which is said to comprise of a variety of segments creating an unforgettable experience for ARMY. (WE’RE NOT JEALOUS. NOPE.)

For those who cannot make it to the in person event at Jamsil Arena in Seoul, South Korea, livestreaming for ‘Message from Jin : June 13 2024’ will be available for ARMY Membership via Weverse Live.

Like we’ve said before, FESTA is like Christmas for ARMY. It’s a sentimental, exciting time, and we have been lucky to experience a number of these over the course of a decade and to have made so many memories! To celebrate, we are taking a walk down memory lane and sharing some of our best BTS FESTA moments.

BTS ROOM LIVE – 2021 FESTA

Back in 2021, BTS gave us a phenomenal live melody of a number of their songs from their hefty discography. A true fan favorite, we got to remember our love for the golden oldies and take a journey through BTS’s musical history. It was a true vibe and a video many of us ARMY go back to watch whenever we miss our boys.

Bangtan Attic – 2019 FESTA

Most years, BTS have sat down together to discuss memories of their journey together so far, and have more intimate conversations together while letting ARMY join in while watching. Though we love to watch them all, there’s something about Bangtan Attic that just captures our hearts. From the childhood stories to telling us about their experiences as BTS from personal perspectives, we just love this video so much!

BTS 10th Anniversary Fireworks Show – 2023 FESTA

Wow. Last year’s FESTA was truly something, wasn’t it? Celebrating 10 years of BTS, there was so much amazing content, but perhaps the most magical and spine-tingling moment was the fireworks display. Taking place at Yeouido Hangang Park, the stunning display was narrated by Jungkook and soundtracked by some of the most iconic BTS songs, bringing tears to the eyes of those in attendance plus millions around the world who watched online.

Map Of The Song: 7 – 2020 FESTA

In a year where it felt like the world had turned grey, BTS brought color into our lives however they possibly could. One way being the crazy and chaotic Map of the Song: 7, which was basically the members having a whale of a time in a karaoke booth singing their hearts out to some of their iconic songs. We laughed until we cried, and it’s still a good serotonin booster to this day!

BTS Dinner Party – 2018 FESTA

The amount of memes that were born from the 2018 BTS Dinner Party will forever go down in history. In their annual sit down, BTS were allowed to let loose in a more… mature manner… even if it did end up with some very silly moments. Funny, sentimental, and full of love, BTS Dinner Party will always have a place in our hearts!

EXCLUSIVE STAGE ‘Wings’ (BTS Focus.) – 2017 FESTA

This wholesome video saw the members of BTS perform on stage during one of their concerts with cameras on selfie sticks, truly giving us the immersive experience of being in their shoes, showing us what it’s like to be on stage with the members performing live. We won’t lie; it was great fun being passed from member to member and getting to see what we as an audience look like from their POV!

1st BTS Birthday Party – 2014 FESTA

Okay, so this video came out a little bit after FESTA, but the memories were so precious, how could we not include it? In this very special BTS Episode, we saw rookie BTS in their old dorm celebrating their first anniversary, where the members cooked a meal, cleaned up their dorm, and made themselves a cake to celebrate a whole year of their debut. Look how young they all look! And little BTS had no idea just what was to come of them. Wow, those onions RM is cutting sure are strong. Are our eyes watering?
